marketing brain for hire
meet Beth Carter
I’m the freelancer behind Lemon Squeezy Marketing. I’m a creativity advocate with an INTJ brain: organised, strategic, and someone who will always tell you what she actually thinks rather than what’s easiest to say.
I trained at a global communications consultancy in London, working on brands such as FedEx and IBM, before returning to Dorset as a Group Marketing Manager, overseeing three brands simultaneously. So when a marketing manager tells me they’re being pulled in all directions, I understand what they’re up against.
I went freelance in 2013 and founded Lemon Squeezy Marketing. I describe myself as a content architect: someone who doesn’t just create and publish content, but builds the strategic foundations that give it somewhere to go. I also have a First Class Honours Degree in PR & Communications.
When I’m not in marketing mode, I’m doing aerial silks, swimming in the sea, or trying to stop my working cocker spaniel Moose from eating something he shouldn’t.
I AM right for you if…
You care about results, not just reach. Follower counts are nice, but real success looks like awareness, trust and conversion.
You understand that great marketing takes time. You’re not looking for overnight miracles, you’re looking for something that actually builds.
You’re open to a creative challenge. Safe content is boring content.
You are willing to try new things and explore different ways to engage your target audience.
You’re willing to be part of the process. The best results come from collaboration, not just delegation.
You want a direct line to the person doing the work, start to finish.
You already have a successful business with a proven track record and you’re ready to step up your marketing to match.
You know your target audience, your USPs, and what you want to achieve with marketing.
