Facebook ‘Save’ Is Good For Business

If you want to stay up-to-date with the latest news and commentary in your industry, Facebook can be a fantastic tool. There is a huge amount of high value content being shared all the time – all you have to do is follow the relevant Pages.

Most Facebook users will dip in and out throughout the day to see what friends are up to and read articles we find interesting… if we have the time. But what if you don’t? Just when you click on a link to see more, the phone rings, you lose signal, your next client arrives or the oven timer goes off.

This is even more frustrating if you imagine that it’s your article on Facebook and someone who wants to read it doesn’t have the time. When it’s challenging enough competing to get your content seen in your fans’ news feeds, this idea is almost too much to bear.

Thankfully, Facebook ‘Save’ does exactly what the name suggests and allows you (and your followers) to save links when there isn’t time to explore right away. Only you can see your saved items, and you can access them again when you next have time to browse.

If you forget to go back to your saved items, Facebook will send you reminders by showing you links to articles you saved. You can save any post with a link in it, including links out to videos, places, music, books, films, TV programs and events.
